Equipping Offenders to Thrive in the Community upon Release
Davidson Prison Ministry, a community-funded nonprofit providing spiritual support services for the inmates, officers, and staff at Davidson Correctional Center, will host the third Annual Love in Lights luminary lighting service on February 13, 2024. The event will take place on the campus of Davidson Correctional from 6-7 PM. The public is invited to participate by attending the lighting service and purchasing a luminary.
The ministry hopes to sell 500 luminaries that will light up the prison grounds to display hope and encouragement for those suffering from incarceration and their families.
Proceeds are used for pastoral care and counseling, bible teaching & materials, financial literacy training, transitional housing, and aftercare support services.
