Breakfast Fundraiser & Art Show

The breakfast fundraiser features artwork by offenders at Davidson Correctional Center. Special guest speaker George Pettigrew, Deputy Secretary Division of Rehabilitation & Reentry. Pettigrew is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and the Department of Public Safety’s Correctional Leadership Development Program.

We will also hear from Chris Jacobs, a NC Field Minister Program graduate and a current resident at DCC. The Field Ministry Program is a partnership between the Department of Public Safety’s Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary of Wake Forest, and Game Plan For Life which is a Gibbs Gibbs, the former Washington Redskins’ Hall of Fame head coach and current NASCAR team owner sponsored program.
